Buffalo Chicken wings
Ingredients
½ cup plain flour
Chicken wings
1 cup corn starch
2 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon cayenne powder
3 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon black pepper
Veg oil for frying
1 cup buffalo sauce
Aromat
For serving
Blue cheese dip
Celery sticks
Directions
- In a big bowl add ½ a cup of corn starch to chicken wings, making sure to coat all the wings, transfer into your fridge and allow to rest for 45 minutes
- In another mixing bowl, add ½ a cup of corn starch , ½ a cup of flour, paprika, cayenne, garlic, baking powder, aromat, pepper. Gradually whisk in water, a little at a time, mix until smooth, the butter should be slightly runny
- Preheat your oil in a frying pan to 350℉
- Now coat the chicken wings in the batter, shake off any excess, add the wings to the hot oil and fry for about 10 minutes or until golden brown (don’t over crowd)
- Once cooked transfers to your bowl
- Drizzle buffalo sauce, over the wings, making sure each chicken wing is well coated
- Serve on a plate with blue cheese and celery sticks
