Fun Fact :
You can substitute oat flour for plain flour for some of your favorite recipes like waffles, pancakes, cookies, muffins, and bread.
Oat flour is very nutritious as it’s a great source of protein and vitamins. It’s gluten free which is a diet recommended for people with celiac disease or people who have gluten intolerance.
Oats also keep glucose levels stable. Oats are rich in fiber which allows digestion to occur slowly. Slower digestion keeps blood sugar steady as opposed to white flour which has been stripped of a nutrient during processing and in contrast hikes up blood sugar since it digests quicker. Faster digestion leads to higher glucose levels causing your energy levels to crash just as quickly.
Oats on the other hand tend to go slow and steady thereby maintaining a consistent energy level without a sudden crash.
Oat flour can also be made into solids(swallow) and enjoyed with your favorite stew and soups.
