Baked ziti
Ingredients
12 oz (340g) penni
Salt, garlic, thyme, dice onion, paprika, white pepper, curry, aromat, 1 tablespoon, corn starch
Grated mozzarella cheese
Butter, evaporated milk, marinara sauce
Directions:
In a large pot add (8) cups of water, allow the water to boil
- Add penni to the boiling water, add salt to taste
- Continue to boil for 15 mins, stirring occasionally
- Boil uncovered until you achieve desired tenderness
- Remove from heat, then drain
- In a frying pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter, galic, paprika, thyme, curry, aromat, onion, stir fry, mixing all the seasoning together, add spaghetti sauce
- Gradually add milk, add cornstarch and stir until the mixture thickens
- Stir in the grated mozzarella cheese, (save some to sprinkle on top, continue to whisk until blended
- Add your drained penni into the mixture and fold in until well incorporated
- Transfer into a baking greased pan or aluminium pan, sprinkle the leftover mozzarella cheese on top
Set your oven to 350 ℉ and bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool and serve.
