 Brownie

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour

2½ cups sugar

½,cup coarsely chopped bittersweet chocolate

½,cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½,tsp Baking powder

1 tsp salt

4 eggs

1 cup veg oil

1 cup chocolate chips

2 tsp vanilla extract

½, cup water

 

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉,grease a 9×13 cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
  • In a frying pan or in your microwave,combine sugar,water,chocolate and heat over low heat,gently stirring until the chocolate and sugar have melted,sand set aside to cool.
  • Sift together flour, cocoa powder,baking powder,and salt in a large bowl,mix to combine.
  • Whisk oil, egg,and vanilla into the cooled chocolate mixture,until just combined.Fold in the chocolate chips.Do not over mix,as it will toughen the brownies.
  • Pour the batter in the prepared pan,smooth the top with a spatula and top with additional chocolate chips (optional).
  • Bake at 350℉for 35-40mins.
  • Allow to cool on a wire rack.
  • Turn the brownie block out unto a flat surface and cut into 12 squares.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of hot fudge (optional)
