Brownie
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
2½ cups sugar
½,cup coarsely chopped bittersweet chocolate
½,cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½,tsp Baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 cup veg oil
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tsp vanilla extract
½, cup water
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350℉,grease a 9×13 cake pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a frying pan or in your microwave,combine sugar,water,chocolate and heat over low heat,gently stirring until the chocolate and sugar have melted,sand set aside to cool.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder,baking powder,and salt in a large bowl,mix to combine.
- Whisk oil, egg,and vanilla into the cooled chocolate mixture,until just combined.Fold in the chocolate chips.Do not over mix,as it will toughen the brownies.
- Pour the batter in the prepared pan,smooth the top with a spatula and top with additional chocolate chips (optional).
- Bake at 350℉for 35-40mins.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack.
- Turn the brownie block out unto a flat surface and cut into 12 squares.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of hot fudge (optional)
