Chocolate covered oats cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
Butter 1 stick
1 cup quaker oats
Light brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
Milk
A pinch of salt
Chocolate,
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350℉ and line your baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl sift in your flour and baking powder, add a pinch of salt, add oats, whisk and set aside. In your mixing bowl add your cubed butter and mix together, add milk, now add your dry ingredients and mix until well incorporated
Spoon about a tablespoon into your baking tray and press firmly,
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown, remove once done.
Allow to cool on a tray so it becomes firm and crunchy
Melt chocolate and butter in your microwave
Dip the cookies into the melted chocolate butter and set aside to harden
To make a pattern, use a knife to make your desired pattern, before the chocolate has the opportunity to set and harden.
Serve and enjoy
Store the extra in a airtight container for up to a week
