Hibiscus or zobo drink
Ingredients
½ cup dried hibiscus flowers
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
6 ounces club soda, sparkling water
Fresh lime or lemon for garnish
Directions:
First make the syrup, in a pot add sugar, water and dried hibiscus flower
Over medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved and the syrup is steaming hot
Remove from heat and allow to cool the strain out flowers
To make a mocktail- add 2 ounces of hibiscus syrup to sparkling water serve cold
Add a wedge of fresh lime or lemon
To make hibiscus spritz- add vodka and 1 ounce of simple syrup to a tall glass, stir together and add ice top with sparkling water
Serve with a wedge of fresh lime or lemon.
