Pie Dough Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups All purpose flour
½,tsp salt
2 tbsp granulated sugar
2 sticks unsalted cold butter
½,cup cold water
Directions:
- In a large bowl,combine sifted flour,salt,sugar, cut the cold butter into cubes and mix with the flour until you have a crumbly consistency.
- Add cold water and continue to mix, don’t over mix
- Transfer onto a work surface and shape into 2 disks.Cover the disks with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the gluten to form.
- When you bring it out you will notice that the dough is more relaxed and easier to work with.
Roll as needed.
