Pineapple Coleslaw
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped pineapple
- 1 medium size cabbage, shredded
- 1 large carrot, grated
- Mayonnaise
- Black pepper
Directions :
- Clean and grate your vegetables. You can also buy a pack of grated coleslaw mix.
- Combine the cabbage, carrots, pineapple, in a bowl
- Add your mayonnaise to the mix and fold in using a wooden spoon
- Season with black pepper
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours
Serve chilled
Use it as a side dish with your favorite meals. Save the rest in your fridge for up to 4 hours. *
Fun Fact :
You can substitute the pineapple with oranges. For orange coleslaw, substitute the pineapples for diced orange.
Also add 4 tablespoons of orange juice to your mayonnaise and mix before combining with your shredded mix. This gives a tangy, citrus taste to your coleslaw. Chill & Enjoy.
